One of the most common questions that teachers hear is "how can I help my child?" and we all try our best to provide as much information as we can. With the huge time pressure put on teachers it is not always possible to provide as much support as parents need or would like.

Imagine trying to explain the entire curriculum for 3 years to a group of 30+ parents who are all at differing stages of understanding. All in 1 hour or less. This is often as much time as a school can afford to release a teacher from the class for so that they can get on with the important job of teaching your children.

Or of course it can be difficult to arrange meetings for parents at times when all parents can attend due to work and childcare commitments.

Learning Together Bucks aims to provide parents with an informal opportunity to find out about the school curriculum, how their children are learning in school, and what they can do to help at home.
